John Freeman is the co-owner and operator of the Forlorn Hope. He serviced in the U.S. Army, achieving the rank of Captain while in command of LRT-601. After the war ended, the unit was disbanded. However, the brothers in arms had grown close, and learned to depend on each other. Knowing this, Freeman decided to establish a place where the nw civilan Rangers could still come together. With the help of Dollar Bill, he established the Forlorn Hope. While this job takes up most of his time, he dedicates his free time to recovering South American War vets who never made it out of the jungle.
