The Johnston Atoll Facility is a research facility run by Biotechnica. It is where they conduct their most dangerous experiments.

Located between Hawaii and the Midway Freehold it is hundreds of miles from any inhabited areas.

The security is incredibly tight. Sensors in the water listen for anything swimming toward the atoll. Sentry guns will fire on any boat or aircraft that does not possess proper identification. Arasaka guards patrol the entire facility and freely search or question anyone they want. Movement between the islands of the atoll and the many floating facilities is done by water bike, and all movement of the bikes is monitored.
