Also known as the Cyborg suppression detachment the Special Purpose Assault and Rescue teams are heavily armed 10-man police units. They are one step up from SWAT units, and are used when up against opposition that is ’borged up or has access to military grade hardware. Special Hunter units within SPARS are used to track down cyborgs who have gone Cyber-Psychotic. The head of the SPARS Hunter unit in Night City is Lt. Bubba McCarty.
