The mob has had a slow resurgence in Night City. After controlling it from 2021 to 2025, they found themselves in a war with the city’s corporate sponsers, and they came out the losers. Mob influence was all but non-existent in Night City for many years.

Since 2030, the Capriani family has been making slow in roads into the city. They have had to learn to be subtle, working in the shadows and avoiding corporate attention. They stay out of the city’s power structure, all they do have a few judges and a couple of police precincts in their pocket. They are content to operate out of Night City’s Little Italy district.
