Johnson Space Platform is owned by the US Government and is operated by NASA. It acts as the hub of traffic for most orbital planes coming to and from the US. As a general rule, a plane coming from the US would dock as JSP, and passengers would then transfer to an orbital vehicle to their actual destination. All NASA interplanetary operations are based on JSP.
